Q1 is a busy time of year for brands and retailers on Amazon. Between putting the finishing touches on your sales targets for the first half of the year, creating a plan to move through any stagnant inventory from Q4, and developing innovative ways to cut costs and optimize your catalog, the new year is the optimal time to make impactful decisions and implement new processes to improve performance.
In this roundup, we have compiled the five events where Feedvisor’s team of Amazon experts will be in Q1. A combination of the industry’s top events and some newer forums, it is our hope that these events provide you with the knowledge and expertise to achieve growth and ROI in 2020.
National Retail Federation (NRF) Big Show
NRF, which refers to itself as the “voice of retail” is the world’s largest retail trade association. By keeping an in-depth pulse on the retail industry, NRF provides insights, profiles, and resources on the people, policies, and ideas that make retail so compelling.
Every year, the NRF puts on “Retail’s Big Show,” and this year’s theme is “Find Your Vision.” Designed to enable retailers and technology providers to approach 2020 with fresh perspectives and share ideas and best practices, the show brings together a community of more than 38,000 people.
With workshops that are open to retailers only, you will be able to deep dive into topics ranging from supply chain and logistics to cybersecurity. The agenda also highlights featured speakers such asChairman, President, and CEO of BJ’s Wholesale Club, Chris Baldwin; Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Paul Ryan; and President and CEO of Walmart U.S., John Furner. Baldwin will deliver the keynote address on retail’s vision for 2020.
A selling point of NRF’s Big Show is the 275,000 square foot expo floor — open all three days of the show — where you can meet with more than 800 solutions providers. Also new for 2020, Shoptalk is launching “Shoptalk Original Content,” a way to provide data and insights to the Shoptalk audience with a fresh and engaging approach. The sessions will cover a diverse range of research, frameworks, case studies, benchmarking reports, and more, all developed by Shoptalk’s in-house team. The highlights and results will be shared during both agenda sessions and offline, bespoke activations and experiences.
