Feedvisor Joins Amazon’s Marketplace Developer Council

The Marketplace Developer Council is an invitation-only program for third-party software providers who deeply integrate with Amazon via Marketplace Web Service — known as MWS — and make use of the Amazon APIs (application programming interfaces). Amazon MWS is a web service API that helps Amazon sellers exchange data on listings, orders, payments, reports, and more.

Feedvisor has been a member of the Council since its genesis and we are excited to be involved. Through the Marketplace Developer Council, members are able to share valuable insights and feedback on existing and prospective tools and programs to influence and shape the roadmap and priorities for Marketplace Web Service APIs and associated tools. Members will be able to test new features and provide feedback, as well as troubleshoot issues related to technology.

Third-party developers and providers strengthen the Amazon ecosystem and improve the marketplace experience for third-party sellers. As we have seen historically with companies like Facebook and Google, establishing an ecosystem rich with innovative third-party developers can be immensely beneficial for all parties involved. By building upon and leveraging the expertise of these developers, businesses selling on Amazon will see more optimized end-to-end experiences, and Amazon will realize more success as a result.

As a Council member, Feedvisor was given the opportunity to be listed in Amazon’s Marketplace Appstore in Seller Central. Within the Appstore, Amazon sellers receive support in selling more effectively and creating a seamless customer experience for their shoppers from start to finish. The Appstore is another example of the resources available to marketplace sellers that allow for easy discovery and ultimately help streamline business operations.
