Timeline for Bank Transfers
The timeline for bank transfers is such that funds reach the sellers’ accounts three to five business days after the transfer. Amazon transfers funds to each seller’s bank every 14 days electronically, through an Automated Clearinghouse (ACH).
Note: “Business days” are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, which may be observed on the Friday before or Monday after a holiday’s specific date below. Federal holidays include:
New Year’s Day | January 1 |
Martin Luther King Day | Third Monday in January |
Presidents Day | Third Monday in February |
Memorial Day | Last Monday in May |
Independence Day | July 4 |
Labor Day | First Monday in September |
Columbus Day | Second Monday in October |
Veterans’ Day | November 11 |
Thanksgiving | Fourth Thursday in November |
Christmas | December 25 |
Funds Not Received
Sellers who have not received their disbursements five or more business days after transfer should confirm that Amazon’s record of bank account and routing numbers are correct. Another possible impediment to timely disbursement is when a seller’s reserve funds exceed the amount scheduled for transfer. Under those circumstances, and for any other delay in receiving funds, sellers should contact Amazon’s Seller Support.
